I am fortunate enough to say that from a young age I realized I had connection and ability to work with and understand dogs. It was this realization that enabled me to begin training dogs as a young child while hunting with my father. Little did I know how these skills would carry me through life. After High School, I moved to Wisconsin to become a professional Hunting Guide. As much as I enjoyed my time in Wisconsin and the lessons I learned there, I felt the calling to return to South Jersey to start a family and career. I have been a Correction Officer for over 20 years, 15 of which have been spent in the Canine Unit. I have felt so fortunate to have the opportunity to follow a career that I am so passionate about. I discovered my ability to train dogs had a further purpose to train Service Dogs for people in need. It has been an honor and privilege to say that I have been training Service Dogs since 2013. The pure joy training service dogs has given me to be able to give back to the community.
